2025 marks a very special milestone for us as we proudly celebrate our 50th anniversary. Since our founding in 1975 in Idiazabal, at the heart of the Basque Country, as a small family business, we have come a long way to become a global leader in the design and manufacture of tower cranes.

Fifty Years of Milestones

We have produced over 16,000 cranes, operate in more than 70 countries, are pioneers in luffing cranes, and rank among the top five tower crane manufacturers in Europe.

What has brought us this far? Our unwavering commitment to quality. Our R&D department, proprietary technology development, and comprehensive manufacturing capabilities enable us to uniquely adapt to international markets, meet local regulations, and fulfill the specific demands of our customers. Additionally, we offer the most complete range of products on the market: Luffing, Hydraulic Luffing, Low Top, Flat Top, High Top, Tower Crane Driver Lifts, and dismantling solutions such as Recovery Cranes and Derricks.

Key Moments in Our History

• 1975: JASO Tower Cranes was founded in Idiazabal, Basque Country, beginning a journey of steady growth.
• 1987: We established ourselves as leaders in the Spanish market, with a clear focus on international expansion.
• 1996: We launched our first Luffing crane and entered the international market with our first sales in Singapore.
• 2005: We inaugurated our Zaragoza plant, doubling our production capacity. By 2007, we set a record with over 1,100 units manufactured in a single year.
• 2015: We unified our corporate identity under JASO GROUP, integrating our three divisions: JASO Tower Cranes, JASO Elevation Systems, and JASO Industrial Cranes.
• 2017: We unveiled our flagship crane, the Luffing J780PA.
• 2019: We built our largest Low Top crane, the J1400 model, with a 64-ton capacity, designed for a major project in Singapore.
• 2023: We launched the Optimus Line, an innovative technology designed to help our clients overcome technical and logistical challenges.
